General Guidelines for our Gatherings
Our Sunday morning 10am in-person service has resumed.
The Sunday service can still be viewed online on YouTube, Facebook, & live.ccgreece.com.
As we get back together, let’s be patient and honor an appropriately healthy distance between family groups in order to minimize the potential spread of any viruses. For the time being, please refrain from physical contact with those outside your family unit (ie. hugging, handshakes, etc.). Obviously this will be difficult, but it will show that Calvary Greece is serious about complying with the guidelines. The church sanctuary occupancy has been reduced and is appropriately spaced and set up to help maintain 6′ distancing. We are asking household members to sit together in order to maximize space. Others will have 6’ or 3 empty seats beside them.
The CDC guidelines for communities of faith encourages the use of cloth face coverings and consider them most essential when social distancing is difficult. Cloth face coverings are meant to protect other people in case the wearer is unknowingly infected but does not have symptoms. Please be considerate of others when social distancing is difficult.
If you are in a sensitive group that is older or immune-compromised we request that you consider continuing to join our online service broadcast live on YouTube, Facebook, and live.ccgreece.com.
The safety of our church members is of utmost importance. Hand sanitizing stations have been placed throughout the building. Every area of our church building has been cleaned and sanitized leading up to the reopening and following each service. In addition, there will be a cleaning team during the service to ensure the building remains clean and sanitized. We are implementing social distancing in our sanctuary following the 6′ guidelines. Household members must sit together in order to maximize space. Others will have 6’ or 3 empty seats beside them. We ask you to stay home if you or your children have any signs of illness.
What about Children?
During the initial phase of regathering, our in-sanctuary service will only be for those 9 years of age and above. We have family seating available for famlies with kids age 8 years and younger. When registering please select the family seating option and select the number of people who will be using the family seating area.
Regarding Reserving Seats
With the current social distancing requirements, reserving seats allows us to manage our service flow and size to keep within the appropriate distancing standards. Reservations are free but are first come first served. This strategy will not be a permanent solution but is necessary for the current season. Reservations will be available from the church website every Friday for the following Sunday services. When you arrive, please show the ushers your registration form (printed or on your phone). We are asking household members to sit together in order to maximize space. Others will have 6’ or 3 empty seats beside them. Doors will open 30 min prior to the service.
